Reconnecting with old friends

I had a great time talking with my old college friend, Jacob, tonight. It's truly amazing what the wonders of the internet allows us nowadays. Although he is in Japan and I am in California and the time of day says that we are nearly one day apart...we were talking through our microphones as if we were sitting right next to each other enjoying a cold beer as if it were yesterday.

If you haven't tried it - check out Skype. It's awesome and easy to use...really quick installation and best of all it's free! Yes, it's free when you are talking PC to PC. If you need to use a phone it does have that capability also but it may cost you so be careful!
